After viewing Deviantart for quite sometime I decided that maybe I should write a journal entry finally.

I haven't really submitted anything until recently. I always felt like I never measured up to the other artists that submit their work on this site. After talking to friends though I had enough encouragement to actually go ahead and start submitting some of my poetry.

I still feel like it they probably get lost in the mass of submissions that are entered every day.

I don't write poetry like real poets do. I just write. I don't go back and keep reworking my poems over and over till it feels just right. To me they feel right when they are done. I'm not writing poems that I think will ever make it into any sort of publication or anything. I don't do public readings. I just write what's going through my head at the time and I stay with it till it feels done.

I hope that people like what I have written and comment on the poems. I like to hear what people think of my poetry.

I would also like to take a moment and thank everyone who makes this site what it is. I love visiting this site and have been inspired so many times by the deviations that I come across here.
